When I play a video via HDMI from my laptop to my TV, there is only visual but no sound. I looked up on Nvidia website, it says downgrading the video driver to the oldest one possible should allow Control Panel>Sounds to list the HDMI device. However, that hasn't helped me. The only thing listed under Control Panel>Sounds>Playback are High Definition Audio Device and Headphone. Can anyone help me?
