    Hey All,

I have a question. I currently have Norton AV(yes, i bought it), but I've heard that it isn't that good in that it uses a lot of your computer's resources. Is this true? I use it on my laptop that has 1gig of RAM so I can't exactly "feel" it unless I uninstall it. Should I uninstall it and install Avast? Does it make that big of a difference? Should I let my money go down the drane?=p=(. Either way, I will be keeping Norton Goback on and running because I like it. It will save me one day

Sorry to break it to ya but Norton is a big system hog. OK, you may not feel it that much but remove it and you will notice a difference.

Its not only the speed but it creates other problems aswell. Conflicts with other programs comes to mind e.g. it would make my laptop stall when shutting down.

Ive had norton and I didnt realise how rubbish it was untill i got something better.

I havent tried Avast but can personally recommend AVG Free as thats whats i use and i never even notice it running.

I have Avast it is great! Much better than norton. If I were you I would try and sell your copy of norton non ebay or something and download Avast.
