    That happens every year. McAfee does the same thing. They want you to switch from the other. It's pretty lame....but it is cheap security.

    Thanks for pointing that out. I was a little too eager to get that out, not that Norton is the best out there by far. This will actually help a friend though since she already has Norton and to pay for the upgrade it was going to cost her $40. Rip off!

    I like Norton but use etrust... Had 06 but gave it away because I heard avg was better. Norton is much better than mcafee IMHO.

    hmmm, Norton....had it for a year...(got a free subscription from pops work)..hated it. There are alot better alternatives than Norton and Mcafee.

    I hate norton, wouldnt reccomend it to anyone. Mccaffe is ok, buy Zone Labs Security Suite, it is the best of everything, its 49 bucks. This is the only program in the world that keeps viruses off my comp. hope this helps

    Even if it was free, I still would'nt get it. It slows you system down bigtime.
