    Not letting me install programs

    I just got new laptop and im trying to install a program but it keeps popping up asking for admin user and p/w. But in my accounts im setup as the admin already. I only have me myself on this computer.

    and how do i put the my documents icon on the desktop?

    start > right click on my documents > send to > desktop (create shortcut).

    what software are you trying to load?
