    Hello,
I'm using windows vista home premium on my DELL XPS m1530, and I have set(in control panel>power options>system settings) to sleep the notebook when I press power button, and Do nothing when I close the lid. Both for battery and for Plugged in.
But when I press power button it hibernates, and sleeps when I close the lid.
Why It does not follow it's settings?
    Cheers,
    Jovaras.

For which profile did you set it on?

What current profile are you using?

I downloaded some kind of an update from DELL.com, reffered as "super plan"
Now I'm on "Dell recommended", before it was "Balanced".
EDIT: On balanced it works as intended, strange dell "super plan" :/.

Did you see if you could review/modify the "super plan" regarding the closing of the lid and the pressing of the button?

    cheers ...
