My nephew was here for a couple weeks and now I keep getting IMs from his friends. Where does XP store contact lists for Messenger? Is there any way to permanently remove .NET Messenger? When I try to close it it says 'Other programs depend on Messenger' or some such; Can it be disabled in services? I Didn't ask for this POS software and now it's starting to bug me bad...

That, or go to add/remove programs, click on the link on the left side to make changes to Windows components, find MS messenger in the dialogue box that opens up, uncheck the tick box next to it, and click Ok.
