I've just updated the SFX drivers on my laptop and its still using the default set of drivers which comes with the laptop which I originally installed after I formatted a clean copy of XP Pro.

Does that mean the default set of SFX drivers are the only ones available? The Samsung site does not offer anymore updates and drivers I do have is from June 2004 which is getting a bit dated.

Will drivers from http://www.omegadrivers.net/ make any difference?

Are you sure the version is the same? If you goto Device Manager and checkout the driver file for your video card, is it the same as the original? If so, it's possible your updated drivers were older than the original, in this case, it may not have installed the drivers. If you have an Nvidia GPU, you may be able to use the standard NVidia Detonator drivers. You may also want to give the Omega drivers a try, but they usually just tweak the drivers that are already out. Just check their version (what original Nvidia version they tweaked) and see if it's newer that the one you have installed.
