I have my taskbar set to the top of my screen so that when it's on autohide there is no gray bar that appears.

My problem is that whenever I go to close a window or minimize one, the taskbar appears, this annoys me.

Does OD allow me to permanently hide to taskbar so that even if I were to mouse over it's location it would not pop up? Thanks for your time!

Under dock properties(right click on dock-dock settings), there should be an option to hide the windows taskbar in the general tab.

Hehe, I don't actually have OD yet. I posed this question because I want to know if the taskbar is permanently hidden before I pay the $20 dollars to get it.

I just downloaded the free version and it does permanently hide the desktop! Now what i need is a way to make the dock background invisible...

Go to the dock settings and look under the appearance tab. You should see a slider that makes your dock transparent or visible...mess with it and find which once suits your background/tastes.

Also, make sure to upload the photos to the NBR image gallery and take a look at the windows desktop thread for some great examples of desktop customization.
