Just got my laptop today and the only thing I don't like is how the harddrive is partitioned, and the bloatware.

I want to do a clean install, but I'm not sure if my retail Windows 7 disc will install with an MSI OEM CD Key.

Yes, it should activate fine. If it doesn't, just activate over the phone.

Thanks, I'll do a clean install as soon as 3DMark06 finishes, and will report back if I have any trouble.

I hope you burned a factory backup discs prior to clean install and also burned separate drivers for the hardwares. I find that the original install has specialized programs that isn't available after a clean install. I use Revo Uninstaller to uninstall bloated programs and CCleaner to further clean the system. For partitioning you can use Computer Management to create or shrink partitions.

I personally find any "specialized" programs that come direct from the manufacture have better alternatives, and when combined with a clean install a pc can run anywhere from 5-25% faster
