When I click on an e-mail link in Chrome, it takes me to G-mail instead of Windows Live Mail.

    About time G-mail!

You know, it is about damn time. Every browser should let you configure a web email client because most people don't use a local client any more.

Yeah, I got a notification a couple weeks ago asking if I wanted to make email links go directly to gmail. I rarely use them, but this will be nice for when I do. If Outlook threaded the messages, I'd be fine using it, but I can't go back to unthreaded email.

AFAIK, Outlook 2003, 2007, 2010 all support email conversation threading, though it's not enabled by default.
