I have a 3 year old Dell Inspiron B130 laptop running XP. Every time I try to open a new window an "Object Required" error pops up. This appears to be preventing me from downloading a newer version of IE. How do I fix it?

It seems to me that it is a Script Error. Have you deleted anything you shouldn't have? Or, Malware/Virus/etc could have infected, try and run a scanner for each, you can find one here.
