Well, I've set OD to hide the taskbar when it use, since basically it's my new, stylish taskbar. My problem is sometimes the taskbar will unhide itself and just stay unhidden for a while. I'm not positive as to what's causing it exactly. I surmise that it might happen if a window starts flashing, for example if someone says a highlight word in xchat2 or receive a new IM on AIM.

Not sure though, so I'm looking for anyone who might have a solution?

Also, while we're on topic, anyone find a way to show battery power % on ObjectDock? That's the only thing I'm missing now really, other than that I'm really pleased with the software.

You can try SysStats with Battery Docklet :)

    Thanks, good call on that.

So, anyone have any idea about my primary problem?

I don't have this issue.. I have OD too... and I have not set it to hide my taskbar, but instead I have set the taskbar properties to hide itself ... you know what I mean?? the auto-hide thing.... so, I don't know why you are having this... and for me even when there is some instant message or anything, it doesn't show up... Is it probably because I have not set the IM notifications to appear??? I dont know, have to check.. but try playing around....

It's already been on auto-hide. I just hide it because there's still the gray line at the bottom indicating it's there, just hidden. I don't have notifications enabled, that's not even what I'm talking about. Looks way better completely hidden.
