    Hi...

Microsoft is offering Office 2007 Ultimate to Australian university students for a very reasonable price and I was wondering if it is actually worth upgrading from Office XP.

You can download a free trial version (20 uses) of the software, and pay $75 for an unlimited licence (or $25 for a one year licence). I've heard that some campuses have the software available on CD too.

To be eligible all you need is a valid student email address.

Ok, thanks for that, it does seem worthwhile after all... $75 is nothing compared with the $1000+ retail price, but it's a fair bit for me at this juncture.
