I found one my USB flash drive. It was missing the last character but I was able to find it back with try-and-error. Worked wonderfully on Beta Pro. I thought I had lost them all.

Well, I just got my first serious problem so far. I was using it to type a doc on my desktop and I got the error "Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 cannot verify the license for this application. A repair attempt failed or was canceled by the user. The application will now shut down." I hope this doesn't become a regular problem and I am not sure on what to do to fix it. When I check in Help I found that the product still says activated. Anyone else get this?

I got a problem with spam settings. I set option to turn off spam filter. But some mail is still put in spam folder. I use gmail and avast.

I have a question for those using the Beta:

Did Microsoft finally fix the problem with PowerPoint and Excel, where if you had more than one file open, it would be in the same window and not provide any thumbnails. I think people using Office 2007 know what I mean...it's hard to explain.

Does each file have it's own thumbnail when you hover over it?

I have some screenshots for those who don't know what I'm talking about:

    No thumbnail available for viewing.

Here, the mouse is hovering over the "Bonds" file but in the background, the "Financing" file is displayed using Aero Peek. Also, notice how there are 3 PowerPoint files to choose from when in fact only 2 are open. PowerPoint actually duplicates the first file you open. The same thing happens with Excel files.

Hopefully they fixed this glitch in 2010, it can get quite annoying when working on projects and I have multiple files open.

Well, the problem is not 7-specific. I had the same issue on Vista as well. I presumed it's a common Office 2007 bug.

Vista has thumbnails as well. Yeah, they're not like in 7 but I'm pretty sure if you keep your mouse hovered over an opened file on the taskbar, a thumbnail will pop up:

More people have been talking about this issue here:
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/w7itproui/thread/d4189a1f-9709-4134-98de-c84270fdb27e
... and according to one person, the behaviour seems to be fixed in Office 2010. Personally, I won't know until Office hits retail and I can get it.

I guess people haven't been noticing this issue in Vista since thumbnails are not a big part of day-to-day usage.

2010b loads fast but causes a bottleneck to all the other programs im running.. i think it uses a lot of CPU power, too much. Can anyone confirm that?
    I have a 3.6 Ghz AMD 3500+ with 1GB memory. hmm

I notice a similar behavior. When I have more than one Excel workbook open, all the Excel thumbnails disappear.
