This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I'll be getting a copy of Office 2010 Professional Academic soon, but I'll have the activation key long before the discs (the place I'm buying from doesn't offer direct download), so I need to find somewhere to download it. Is there anywhere I can download it legally for activation in the meantime? I'm considering trying the Office Pro trial, but in spite of the suites having the same software, I'm afraid there will be some variable in there that will require me to have the academic version installed (even though it's the same thing) for the key to work.

    Any insights or sources?
