Link. I've been using 2010 since I got it on Connect months ago, and love it a lot.

great, I also use Office 2010 Technical Preview since a while and came from Office 2002 :)
I really got used to the ribbon interface and start liking it. As the article mentioned, the Office 2010 GUI has a lot of drawbacks, which hopefully will be solved in the beta version.

So, I'm curios if they've inlcuded all the suggestions posted by all the users.

Sounds like it'll be worth trying. Not sure I'd spend a whole lot to upgrade even if I liked it since Office 2007 is pretty good already, but what's the harm in trying the beta?

As for the online component, I'm curious how tied it will be to Internet Explorer and/or Silverlight. Google Docs works with every recent browser I know of, and that's a big advantage for me - although usually, Office is available wherever you need it already.

ive used 2010 tech preveiw for a while now and its great some things i didnt like (ie when you hit the office button it completely covers the document up which seemed weird as there was all this blue space but over time i have gotten used to it as this show much more information about the document itself plus you dont really need to see the document behind it when you want to save or print soemthing do you)

i really liked 07 but 2010 is much better colours are better (not as shinny) and flows alot more. the offfice button menu is much better this time around too.

also guys how do i get access to the online stuff? i am an official technical preveiw person or whatever tis called so how do i aceess the online stuff? i really wanna try it out...

An official person huh? Then you should already know :)

Sign into Windows Live. Find the Office Web Apps there, you will.

...by the way, did anybody notice that Excel seems to mss up pi?

On the Preview and another computer with 2007 I've entered =SIN(PI()) and get 1.22 bla bla exp -16
    It should be 0

Oddly enough, it does does does =SIN(PI()/2) and =COS(PI()) ???
    (2 different completely independant computers)
