Do you guys also think that the new MS Office 2010 loads soooo much faster? I mean wow. I have Outlook, Word, and Excel installed, and thye load max 1secs, average "instantly". Just wow.

A bug that I and many others have discovered is that Outlook 2010 x64 will NOT synchronize with iTunes.
The x86 version seems to work ok for some, though it didn't for me; my contacts synced, but about half of them were blank except for the name; emails, phones, addresses, etc. had all been deleted by outlook.
No issue for me as I had all my stuff backed up, but I promptly switched to Google Sync for my contacts.
iPhone users, you have been warned.
Yep, it's pretty darn quick. -
It might be because it loads some of it at boot up though- prefetches it.

True, unfortunately there are TWO new startup entries for office 2010 - one eponymous, the other "send a smile."
I can't make this crap up.
Anyhow, I disabled both and Office 2010 still loads faster than any other version so far. -
Well, I think plenty of core components were taken over from Office 2007 - same as Vista vs. Win7 so -
Preload? Well, that's OK because first I don't reboot that many times, Vista or 7 are just so stable these days I just put the machine to sleep every time. Second, my boot time with all these preloads is still very low, around 15s.
I'm not sure about eponymous, but I uninstall the 'send a smile' right after I sent one comment giving them prop for the fast startup. LOL.
Office 2010 faster?
