I loaded this using the 32 bit default and from what I read, most suggested to load the 32 bit rather than the 64 bit version.
Question: was loading the 32 bit version the correct thing to do or should I uninstall it and go with the 64 bit version? I actually "assumed" it was 64 bit but I was dead wrong and found out when I noticed my Outlook said it was 32 bit (I get a strange error about Outlook sometimes when I start up my computer that I need to troubleshoot so I was looking at the build/version).
I just do basic things with Office but do have some rather large Excel spreadsheets, still nothing horrendous. I just want to load my new computer correctly or at least the best way possible so I thought I'd ask the experts on this forum.
Thanks in advance for any advice/suggestions/comments.

Mount the image file and navigate to x64 folder and run the setup file from there. -

Then I uninstalled the x86 version completely using MSFT's tool and installed x64 versions and noticed it was faster to load my thesis, presentation and spreadsheets in few seconds.
I still have problems with MS Access OLEDB.dll error sometimes when I upload an excel file for websites that accept Excel file as Input.slimmolG likes this. -

program files/ aka 64bit
program files (x86) / aka 32bit
So you can see they both can work together but if you can get a x64 version then use that first.Vasudev likes this.
