I am planning to buy a laptop with Vista 64-bit.
Will my Office XP work well on it?
(I know I still have at least one license)
Or should I buy the newer Office? I think the newer Office is not 64 bit either, right?
Thanks

Office XP should work just fine.

Per Microsoft it will work with 32 and not 64. I would like to hear from someone who has actually tried it????
microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/Details.aspx?type=Software&p=Microsoft%20Office%20XP%20Professional&v=Microsoft&uid=10&pf=0&pi=4&c=Enterprise%20Applications&sc=Collaboration%20%26%20Content&os=32-bit
I deleted the www at the begining of the above link as it wont let me post the above link.
That said, some other net posts I have read indicate that Outlook seems to be the only app that is incompatible. If that is the case, then I can live without outlook. -
It will work with Vista x64. I used it before I bought Office 2007 in April.
