    Hi.

I thought sp1 had been realesed because, i tried to download the latest drivers from acer website, and a lot of them say that sp1 must be installed first have a look.

    http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_9920.html

If vista sp1 has not been officially released, then why are they doing this?

    regards

    John.

Microsoft released the Vista discs with SP1 integrated to manufacturers (aka RTM). This is the same scenario as little over a year ago when Microsoft released Vista to manufacturers 3 months before they were made for public distribution. It's so that they can get their drivers/software working for the newer kernel.
