I have a sager laptop that has lot of issues and its my main computer. I also have an old laptop...asus u45jc-a1 laptop that i havent used in a while. First off, its an old i3 processor but does have an ssd. However, the battery doesn't work anymore so i have to have it plugged in at all times otherwise it shuts off. Also the laptop is extremely hot like scorching. I read online that this could be because of dust? I never had it cleaned etc so that might be it?

Well the keyboard does not work except for a few keys. For example let say i open up chrome. I cannot click on anything such as if i want to type www. nothing shows up. The only keys that seem to work are the e and f key and when i click on either of these... it clicks on the 3 line icon right the under X in google chrome that reads customize and control google chrome. However earlier i noticed that my keyboard all of a sudden worked... then later on it didn't. Then again it worked. But then suddenly didn't. For a while they keyboard just didn't work except the E and F key and thats only for that icon under the X in google chrome.

If i want to click on anything on my desktop or on pictures, it doesn't open. All it does is go to properties for that program. so if i click on malwarebytes on my desktop... it would open up to shortcut tab of properties. if i want to click on any picture in computer, same thing. Does anyone know what is this the problem with this? The thing is twice earlier the keyboard suddenly worked... all the keys worked. Then i think closed the lid of the asus laptop and then opened back again and it didn't work. Has anyone heard of something like this? Why does the e and f key work when chrome is open and click on that 3 line thing under the X on chrome? However i cannot type anything at the moment. So i go to address bar or search... and type ... nothing shows up.
