No! It is not. This is the windows box if I tick/select status bar.
Compare it with the 1st image I uploaded.

ok, my bad, go to organise > layout > details pane.

Also, just as a side note, you might want to reduce the size of your signature - it's only supposed to be 4 lines as per the forum rules.

I thought it was 8 lines if you use font 1.

    Where can I find Organise?
Ok. The signature I would change it after I settle this problem.

Ah yes, you are correct, ignore my comment about signature Darksilver.

It's on the image you posted up, under the menu bar, first item on left hand side.

WOW!!! I don't have that information at all in my Status Bar. Mine just says the words: "3 items" ... period. No details. No Computer icon -- no matter which 'View' I select, it doesn't change the Status Bar at all. Do you think it's because I'm running Vista Home Premium (x64) and not a higher version of Vista? Or, can I still get this additional info?

    Open your folder or explorer.
Then on the left-top area, Click this, Organise > Layout > Details Pane.
    The bar would appear.

You can still get the information, select the organise menu, then Layout then details pane.

Nope. When I open Organize and then Layout, I don't have a Details Pane. I just have Menu Bar, Search Pane + Navigation Pane. No Details Pane. I have tried opening a number of different folders in Windows Explorer, and none of them give me a Details Pane link! Could this be because I am running Vista Home Premium, and not a higher level Vista?

My housemate was running Vista Home Premium x64 and I was running Vista Home Premium x86. Both of us have the Detail Pane Bar.
I think it might be some software or services turned off. That's why the option gone.

I believe this can be fixed by going to to Organise > Folder and search options. You've probably got the first radio button set to classic folders, change it to Show preview and filters. Then in Organise > View, you should have the option of turning back on your details pane.

Google is jolly good fun: http://www.askvg.com/how-to-re-enable-missing-details-pane-in-windows-vista-explorer/
