So OneNote, insert file as printouts is not supported for Vista 64. It is pretty ridiculous that Microsoft products dont support their own OS.

I have contacted MS and they said that hopefully this will be fixed soon, but from a little research, seems they have been saying the same thing for the past year?

Does anyone know a way around this or other software similar to OneNote that will work on 64?

    thanks

Insert a document or file as a printout

When you want to insert information from other files on your computer without attaching or linking to the files, you can insert a picture or "printout" of the information by using the OneNote printer driver.

the problem is that the printer driver is not compatible for Vista 64

is this what you are talking about? i use onenote 2003 and this is the option i use to send documents to onenote. if you are wanting to move ms office documents to onenote, you can just drag the file onto a blank onenote page, but you can't do that with other files like pdfs.

yea, its basically the same thing....but they don't have 64 drivers, so it doesn't work on my computer (running vista 64). Was curious if there was a way around this or another program that is similar to OneNote that might have this feature

i'm not sure if this will work (don't know which version of onenote you have), but you can try printing your file to pdf. then go to insert file and insert the pdf. i don't know if it will work or if these options even exist.....
