    Hello all,

For the moment I saw that only Microsoft Store US is giving the download option. The problem is that I live in Canada for the moment but i'll move to Europe soon.
I need an online store to buy the upgrade and download it later from Europe. Is it possible to do that on another site? Or should I talk with someone from the US to buy it for me?

That is the question I have been asking. After a moment of demur, I decided to pre-order from MS store. At the time W7 released, I will be in Asia. So I guess if MS does the IP address restriction that allows only US IP, we might have to do the fake IP.

Provided you have a way to spoof your IP in case they do check when you actually go to download it, I'd just get someone in the US to buy it, or if you're right on the border go buy one of the "pre-paid" cards at Wal-mart. Then you'd be able to use that as a US card when you're abroad too.

Yes, tului is right about that. You can have your friend or someone who you trust (because it's about the credit card receipt) get it for you. But if you just pick the download option, maybe you don't need to provide the real address I guess.
