I've googled my issue and I've looked through all the options, but I can't get Writer to center the page; instead it is aligned to the left, and for some reason it bothers me a great deal. Can anyone tell me how to move the page to the center? For clarification, I'm NOT referring to the text alignment tool, but the page itself.

It's currently not possible (don't ask me why, seems rather silly)
However
I just stumbled across THIS,
it looks like the next release (OOo 2.3) will have this feature.
It should be released sometime around the beginning of September I believe. -
Wow. It was rather callous of them to ignore this for *6* years. The feature/bug complaints date back to 2001. It really is little things like that that can make a difference in the suite someone chooses to run. And I say this as someone who used OO extensively in college.
Well, better late than never, I guess. -

Finally...even though I've kinda grown used to the left alignment thing....I still like it centered

You too, IceDragon? Now I know I'm not crazy!
Well, it's a somewhat bothersome detail, but at least they are working to fix it. Thanks for the feature list, Iza! -
I suppose for the time being we'll all have to zoom in until the page fits the screen... But then for the huge screens out there the text size will simply be ridiculous!
