when will Opera 10 comes out?
will it feature a brand spanking new UI?
will it fix the tiny tiny close tab button on windows opera? am i the only one that annoyed by this?
with IE8 coming out, google chrome, etc, Opera 10 better be having something good up it sleeve.

Well if the close tab button is small and annoying, a useful shortcut is to middle click the tab you would like to close, it would be closed with ease, in another effect, middle clicking a link would also help open a tab which can save you from the need to "right click -> open link to new tab".

Considering it is still at the Alpha stage, one wonders when it will be released!!! And, Opera has this annoying habit of being rather vague about their releases. I am so looking forward to Opera 10, but every time you ask the question on the Opera forum, you get shot down!
I must say, while I like Opera - best browser - in my opinion, the organization gets on my nerves - as do some of the Opera fanboys! -
LOL, Opera has fanboys? Ha ha! I mean, I like the browser for some odd reason, but fanboys? Man, they should get a hobby, methinks

I thought it was on their 10 alpha website. Basically, in a long time.

oh!!! didnt know that! will certainly use that now. rep+
but it still is annoying when you're working without a mouse, i have to do ctrl+w then....
according to the link Persnickety gave me, it will be out within this year (2009)
the alpha doesnt hint any new UI does it?
i heard they are hiring a talented guy (forget his name, or background) to revamp their browser's UI.
so i'm really looking forward to it. -

don't know how they should improve the close button?
if you use both mouse and keyboard then you can hold the shift key and click on the tab with the left mouse button to close the tab.
if you use only a keyboard then you can customize your shortcuts to do this action
if you use only a mouse then you can use customized mouse gestures; that's what I use. (like up=new window, left down=close window, on link and down=open in background tab, left/right up=previous/next tab, ...) -
one thing i really like about Opera is how easy you can change skins, without restarting the browser and stuff. and, by the way, the close-tab button size varies in different skins - so you can choose some you'd like
the alpha looks nice! -
look at the one in IE7, isnt that easier to click and see? -
