Does anybody know how to move the temporary internet files folder for opera? I want to switch it to a different partition.

Any specific reason? I mean I don't see the usefulness of doing so.

I would assume uninstalling it and installing it on the other HDD would fix it

Files are downloaded and deleted from the temporary internet files folder, hence the word temporary. This ends up fragementing the partition because of the constant downloading and deletion. So I would like to move the folder to a different partition that I use for downloads.

One more question: is there any way to make opera delete my private data everytime I close it?

Sounds like you might have to edit the registry to store Temp files in another Drive/Partition. I never heard of anyone who wanted to move browser temp files to another partition. I only hear of this and do this myself on a Smartphone.

The files are only deleted when you choose to delete them. The files are so tiny that the fragmentation this may cause is really not comparable to normal file movement. Plus, it's not just the browser that stores temp files in Windows. It really sounds like browsing history/security is what's important for that particular machine.
