I am using Exchange through a company called Sherweb (2007).

I have tried changing my profile and recently uninstalled and the reinstalled Outlook.
I cant seem to get the program to respond more quickly.
It tends to work well but if I do anything really quickly (like repeatedly delete emails, or quickly jump around Outlook) it will tent to freeze up and show "not responding".

Is there anything I can do to remedy this?

Is that using IMAP or POP?

    Is your Data file large?

    Which ersion of Outlook? 2007??

Go to your account setting - selectthe data file - you could try optimizing it.
Also, use the archiving function to keep your active data file small.

An archive is just a second file - which is getting expanded with the contents from your active file when you archive elements.

(Sorry, this sounds convoluted - and knowing only German names for all he options doesn't help either...)
