Been having some problems with Outlook Exchange over the past month or so and cannot figure out what it is. I think I am noticing slowness across the board on my laptop (e6400-Latitude) but im not sure yet.

    Ive checked the following:

Internet connection/exchange connection (everything appears fine)
OST and PST files (no overload here)
    Add-ons (nothing)
My computer's performance (all is good; dual cores/4 gigs of ram)

Everything else seems fine but Outlook keeps freezing.

    Any ideas?

    Try defragmenting your hard disk.

There is literally no difference between 3rd party defraggers and the built-in utility that comes with Windows. If you need something that shows you progress unlike Vista or 7, try Auslogics Disk Defrag.
