I have a Toshiba Satellite P200 MB1 pc running Vista Home premium and cannot get Outlook 2003 to run on the computer. I have just replaced a hard drive that failed with a clean version of Vista. After loading Office 2003 it will not run due to message

"Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. MAPI32.DLL is corrupt or the wrong version. This could have been caused by installing other messaging software. Please reinstall Outlook."

I have tried reinstalling Outlook, using Office repair tool and reformatting and reloading Vista to no avail.

    Help would be appreciated.

    TY - GLFGR8

    Thanks for the hint.

I ended up removing all of the Office 2007 trial program files through the Remove Programs option in the Controll Panel and also removed the Activation program for it.

Then I reinstalled Office 2003 and it worked sucessfully.

Thanks - I will try google next time but I am not very adept at entering the right search to get good results.
