Help, I've just installed outlook 2003 on my new machine and am setting up my accounts. The problem is that when I go into an account and look at "more settings" it clears all the settings on the first page. Has anyone else had this problem or knows how to solve it? It didn't happen on the old machine.

    Thanks
    Fia :(

It's a bit off-topic but I suggest you stop using this one. It's very outdated and thanks to Microsoft is stuffed with security problems.
So its better to use thunderbird.(it's more up to date)

Unfortunately no other program that I've found has the power that Outlook does when it comes to integrated calender, scheduling, sharing folders, and meeting requests, etc. If you just need an email program, go with Thunderbird as it's a great piece of software. But some people (like corporations and networks) need more features than just email.

As to the OP, is the wizard that comes up when you click "Email Accounts" that you are speaking of? A little more info could help me out a little more.

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately I can't change, all my clients use outlook. As you surmised, it happens when I use the wizard from the tools menu and change an email account. If I go to more settings, (even if I don't change anything while in the details) then return to the opening screen all the user information, server information and logon information has been reset to the data shown as "your name".

    Thanks
