    Outlook 2007 Can't open

    Just recently got my Asus running Win 7 Now, suddenly I get an error message saying Outlook can't open. Can't open the Outlook window. Any thoughts?

    do the following command in a command prompt window or using the run command

    Outlook.exe /resetnavpane

    wow thanks very much How did you know about that? Any idea what made it necessary to do this, instead of it just opening like usual when I clicked on the Outlook icon?

    Never was able to pinpoint it since we had many users at work who had this problem but never ever used the navigation pane.
