This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Outlook 2007 and Google Calendar

    I have just been given a copy of outlook 2007 and would like to be able to sync it with all of my google calendars for uni. There is a group of 12 of us so we have a couple of shared calendars between us to make life easier.

    I can get outlook to view the calendars but can't make any changes to it - it comes up with a message saying it is read only. I have previously used Mozzila Sunbird which allows me to make changes to the calendar locally.

    I would quite like this function to work as I am planning on getting a HTC hero which interfaces with the google calendars.

    Have you tried using Google Calendar Sync?

    I have it running but it only does the main calendar none of the other calendars which are probably more important.

    Google Calendar Sync is the only application I know that can sync with Outlook, and it only works with the primary calendar.
