So I'm trying to setup outlook express. I rarely use it, mostly because it never works right, on any machine.

Whenever i logon to outlook express, it cuts my internet connection.

It does other things like disconne my msn, but i know it does that because it signs in my windows messanger.. but i really dont know hwy it cuts out my internet connectiong each time i try to open it.. any ideas?

Are you on dial-up? There's a setting to disconnect when it's finished sending/receiving mail. That would certainy explain it.

Its usually another one of the options and its usually a checkbox that says something to the effect of use windows messanger with Outlook Express.

yeah its an option. Cant remember where but somewhere in there its a checkbox.

I actually always really liked Outlook Express. Lots of options and I had few complaints. I now am thinking I will move to use Outlook since I have it. I am trying to figure out how it will be different and hopefully better.

Full outlook has a calendar you can schedule with and you can customize it more to your likings. Also, it runs more efficent that oulook express.

    You know what, Im wrong.
I was thinking of how MSN messenger used to start for me when Id start outlook express and there was a checkbox to uncheck or it would start on startup and the box to uncheck was in Outlook Express.
I dont even know what Windows messenger is. I dont think that was in Win 98 and up until I got this Dell (2 or 3 weeks ago), I was only on 98. I have only seen MSN messenger.
