    Hello

I configured the G Gail account mails to be download on my laptop when I launch the Outlook Express.

When I press Send/Recieve after 60 sec a message box appears saying "Your POP3 server has not responded after 60sec....."

Then I have to log on manually on the gmail account site and what them online...

    What shall I do?

    Thanks for your help...

assuming that your configuration is correct based on the instructions given by gmail in activating the forwarding and pop3 configuration of your email client ( http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=13276), try to increase the amount of time for your OE to ping your gmail pop3 box before it gives you an error message. a 120secs limit gives enough window to establish connection between OE and your gmail.

And check if you have your personal firewall configured correctly and if you are not behind a (corporate) network firewall that blocks port 110 (POP3), while allowing 80 (HTTP).
