So I went to mac support and followed all the steps, receiveing mails work fine but I can't send any. This is the message I get:

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'mail.mac.com', Server: 'mail.mac.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10053, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

Someone please help me, I just sent an email to all my contacts with my mac mail to tell them that I changed it, I don't want to do it again.

I use smtp.mac.com as my outgoing mail server, and it uses password authentication.

I don't know about you guys, but I use my ISP's mail server as the outgoing and my email provider's mail server as incoming. Could give that a try Bob if you still can't send---every ISP has their own mail server you could use to send out messages.

Have you tried using your Internet Service Provider's mail server as I suggested?

Yes, but that wasn't the case. I unticked something regarding logging in securely not sure what it was. For incomming only and it is now fully functional. Thank you all.
