I have several folders with nearly a thousand of e-mail messages that I want to save before deleting everything to send the notebook for repairs.

Anyone knows how to save them all without going through each one? Is this even possible?

Outlook express has an export/import function. You can use it to export all of your personal folders (messages, calendar, contacts, etc) to a file.

i think you can just take your HD out and send them the computer.

i surely wouldn't send them my computer with all my data on it, maybe only if i reformatted it first and even then, i'd be quite hesitant

I agree completely. Take out your hard drive.

If you think they might have to re-format, simply run Files and Settings Transfer Wizard before the format. Saves most of your 'stuff' and makes it pretty simple to restore it.
