    Hey guys,

I have a normal gmail account, and I've tried using google calendar sync, but it only handles the main calendar. I've seen software like kigoo that syncs both contacts and multiple calendars, but the price is ridculous. Plaxo free doesn't offer syncing either.

So, is there a software that allows me to sync outlook with google calendar and google contacts? I don't mind if it has to be 2 different softwares, but 1 would be better.

Also, does google apps sync work with normal gmail accounts? I haven't been able to test it yet, but some people say that t does work.

    Thanks.

I've met very few people that use Google calender with Outlook. Often they only use one or the other.

well, the point was to use my google account as a central server so i could sync my various machines with outlook on it seamlessly. Then i would use my blackberry and sync that.

I tried funambol, however the blackberry and outlook sync clash horribly and overwrite stuff.

so i thought i would use google contacts and google calendar and sync away....then update with my blackberry wirelessly

this is why i maintain and use windows live as my primary email, contact and calendar system because it offers very nice integration of outlook through outlook connector. otherwise, there's also windows live mail desktop.

That's a nice solution. I've got to try that. I use a hosted Exchange account. Costs about $90 a year, but it's worth not having to hassle.
