Advice needed please.
I am now the "Tech" guy for my office. Trying to put together some ultra specific guides on how to access programs, etc. on our network. I am trying to find superior screen capture software which will allow me to show exactly what is on the screen at certain points in the process. Need enough resolution that I can process each image.
Any really good choices which are not too expensive (I am paying for it, and not my agency.)

For Video Capture get: Tech Smith's Camtasia Studio
For image capture: Tech Smith's Snag-It -
First time I heard of this. I am right now downloading the free trial while I post this.

look under accessories and try out the snipping tool..

Both great ideas.
I am using both right now.
Thanks very much to everyone. -
Vista's snipping tool + Windows Photo Gallery
All you need
Photo gallery provides basic tools to crop and rotate your pictures. I personally use FRAPS for my screen captures, but that's mainly for the videos. -
I'm not sure what FRAPS is. -
For Vista, +1 to snipping tool. It does a great job.
As far as previous Windows OS, +1 to Snag-it/Snag-it Studio. It is great for creating tutorials.
Lastly, if all fails...try Snappy 95 -
Outstanding screen capture software
