I've been trying to work out the temp of my CPU (P8400) and have been getting conflicting results and wanted to find out if anyone knows which temperature monitor tells the right temperature of this CPU.

    Temperatures

The newer version of CPUID temp monitor (top 1) says its around 4 degrees cooler and RightMark Clock Utility agrees (40C) but EVEREST is reading the same temps as the old CPUID temp monitor (bottom 1) (44C).

They all give the same results for the GPU and HDD so...
Which one should I go for?

I think Coretemp is correct because its agreeing with the older version of CPUID and EVEREST which is 3 against 2, Realtemp is incorrect though.
Its probably best to assume its the higher temp as well just in case.
