Well, I"m waiting for my new laptop, and I'm wondering if anyone has used PC Relocator, or some other similar program?

It's the lazy man's way to transfer your programs and data from one machine to another. PC Relocator claims to transfer programs as well, so if you're missing the installation disk, PC Relocator transfers all necessary components.

Anyone have experience with PC R? Any other suggestions?

    Thanks

Norton Ghost works great. Primarily for transfers to same type of a machine. Perhaps though if not quite the same, you will be prompted for latest drivers for any differing devices.

Acronis True image is a great program, plus there is a 30 day unrestricted free trial.

I use WinSCP3, but on one of you computers you need to have Linux installed. Other than that it's really fast as easy.
