Guys i really need your help with this one. I mainly use my laptop for viewing movies while lying in my bed. So i really want to control my media player via remote. I have been searching for pc remotes but have found out that most of them only supports windows media center. Then I stumbled upon WLIRC here and pcremote control here. It says that i could use my remote for my TV to create macros that i could set so that i could control basically everything on my computer (i use VLC media player so i want to set let say CTRL + Up Arrow to one button for volume up etc..) Could somebody help me?? =( I don't know how to turn on the infrared receiver on my m50sv too....

use controlfreak if you have a s60 phone. Am actually using controlfreak to post this.. It has the desktop control mode so basically you can do almost everything.. You also need winamp to run it as a plugin.
