This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I will not be impressed till DX10 hits. thats my only reason to upgrade to vista

    It's not really with Firefox... it's those evangelists that make up a bunch of facts to try and get people to switch.

    I've got really high hopes for RC1. Hopefully I can go to using it as pretty much my main OS. I've heard compatibility and performance are outstanding, and that's what I really look forward to. I've heard even gaming is just as fast with RC1.

    There's no doubt that Vista is a major release, but definitely not one I'll upgrade to completely (I mean, I won't have just Vista on my hard drive for a while). I'll probably plop down the money whenever it is I get around to building my desktop next year. Hopefully it'll have a DX10 card...
