    PDF files are a CPU hog!

    have you noticed how high your CPU usage goes as you scroll through a PDF file.

    on my last computer it use to hit 100% as you scroll down the page.

    foxit pdf reader, if you are using adobe

    Then you will wonder why Adobe is such bloated rubbish, when all you need is a reader. If you need to create them, cutepdf. Some will defend adobe... fine, but unless its adobe pro, I hate them with a passion :p

    I just installed "foxit", and it hardly use any CPU power at all.

    It`s amazing how much power acrobat8 uses to view the same file, and it took longer than normal to delete, full of rubbish.

    Thanks for the heads up on this. Foxit is so much lighter and faster. It made me happy to unitnstall Adobe Reader.

    been (mostly) using and sold on foxit.reader, but i would recommend to hold back on un.installing adobe since they still exist out there some pdf that only adobe can open :-(

    and foxit.reader does work under vista
