i need to revert my OS to an earlier version and after some research i found out that its possible but the guide that shows how to do this also says that i'll need free hard disk space twice as much as the size of the windows.OLD (42 gigs) folder. but i have only 13 gigs free.

    Will it work??

Is there any other way to install VISTA again using the recovery CD without losing the windows.OLD folder????

    Please help

You don't have enough space. Copy Windows.OLD to an external drive, then delete it from your main drive.

btw are you sure you need it? Your Windows.OLD is your last installation, not your current one. Just get the stuff you need out of it.
