Can you be a little more specific?

    What OS?
    What type images?
Exactly what happens when you open the images?
Have you done anything (delete files from the Adobe directory, updated, etc)?

Is PS3 open first, or are you using the pic to open PS3? Basically is PS open and you go to file>open or are you double clicking the image file?

Clean up your PC with CCleaner or Uniblue 2.0....Could be a program conflict..!!

Sounds like a licensing issue to me. Adobe is pretty weird about that. Usually if there is a problem their programs just open/close quickly. If you have the suite have you checked the registered info in one of those?

You may be better off just uninstalling, cleaning the registry, and reinstalling. You'll probably need to delete some left over folders, and do a manual registry cleanup. PS3 creates a huge number of reg enties, and their uninstall doesn't get them all. Look for a program called RegCool. It's a registry editor with a very nice search feature, so you get a results page instead of each entry singly. It will speed up the process.

Revo Uninstaller also lets you play around with the reg entries after an uninstall.. :D

Do you have a legal copy? I have heard that paying customers got bent over by accident because of their licensing measures.

Happened to me once on a program or 2 so I dont give any programs access to the internet unless they really need it. If it aint broken, dont fix it. Comodo is great for this btw.
