One question, which program is the best to partitioning the hard disk? If I make a partition, and in one install system and in the other installs programs. If I erase o reinstall the system, when I try to run all the programs they will run?
I can install windows vista in a partition that is not C?
    Thanks!

If you are running Windows, Partition Magic is undoubtedly the best partitioning program around. If you reinstall your OS, some of your application should still be able to run if installed on a different partition. However, other applications which are for example integrated into the OS's shell will need to be reinstalled.
And Windows Vista will give you the option to select the partition you wish to install it in.

I'm familiar with Partition Magic and have used it extensively in the past. Would anyone here know of a freeware partitioning program for Windows that has a user-interface similar to Partition Magic and has similar functionality? I'm just curious as I've never seemed to come across something similar to Partition Magic, but free.
