    Hello!

Im preparing for clean install of my Vista. What is recommended size for Business version??
Ive got 148.5GB of usable space and was planning to have somthing like this:

1 - Vista system + some of the software that always stays the same??[20GB]
    2 - XP system + some software [8GB]
    3 - rest of my files [120GB]

Basicly i will be installing DX9 games in XP and playing them there, and DX 10 games in Vista.
All software that works in Vista will be used in Vista.
Ive got Norton Ghost for Vista and XP so I can always recover both systems.

    What do U suggest??

hmm...I think 20gbs a bit less...because I have 30gb vista and I have 15 gbs left but that doesn't include any game in there...only plain little softwares and microsft offices...and those gernally uses like 20-40 mbs (office is 240 mbs)...so...if you plan to install games...that's a different story

8GB XP is ok if you have a 2GB swapfile and don't install a whole lot more. Problem is that programs (especially game demos and patches) can tend to use the temp directory in your C: drive and considering they're typically 1-2GB these days might want 10GB for XP and bump Vista back to 18GB.

I do the same thing on my desktop. Have a 150GB Raptor as my boot drive and for games (with Vista, XP, and game partition) and use a secondary HDD for all other programs and multimedia (pictures, videos, etc).

I'd do 10-15 for XP and 25-30 for Vista. For me XP and Vista clean installs usually take up about 5 and 15GB respectively (including the pagefile).

All the games would be installed on the last partition. System partition would only have the most used, necessary programs like winrar, office, couple more so i could do a image and after a recovery i would be able to do most of my usual tasks.
