OK I've looked online and it says I can only create a partition at the end of the drive, however I have something at the end. Right-clicking it only has Help. I think it's the factory image. How can I remove that image?

I believe you may only have 4 partitions on a single drive.

What you need to do use a program like Gparted to partition your hard drive

You are only allowed to create a max of 4 Primary partitions. However you can create an unlimited number of Extended (Logical) partitions.

    @ 2nd post

Windows doesn't recognize that File system so it won't do anything to it. Like NAS Ghost said, go download an image of Ubuntu LiveCD and use Gparted to delete and/or edit that partition.

Or you could merge the small partition, delete the partition at the end ( if you dont need it; it says its 100% full but it might be a hidden drive ) and merge that one, and create a new partition.

I think the 4 partitions limit is why. I cannot delete the first nor the last partitions though ... When I right-click all I get is Help as an option. Also, anyone got a good free partitioning software that's Vista compatible?
