    Anyways, it's better than the windows one of course, but I wouldn't pay money for it, as g-parted is free.

    Parition Magic used to be well priced when it was with PowerQuest. But now that it's been acquired by Symantec, the price has sky rocketed.
    Still, my PowerQuest PartitionMagic destroys Windows partition wizard thing anyday.

    Given the number of times you generally repartition (very very few) I don't believe it's worth spending money for Partition Magic when GParted is free.

    Windows is fine if you are doing complete clean re-install, but a lot of laptops nowadays that's hard to do.
